Bids Engineer (Proposal Engineer / Cost Estimator)

Location: Port Harcourt, Nigeria

Marconi.NG EPC Limited is seeking an experienced Bids Engineer to join our Commercial team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in proposal preparation, cost estimation, and tender management within the EPC, Oil & Gas, or Construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for EPC projects.

• Develop detailed cost estimates and pricing models.

• Review tender documents and identify project requirements.

• Coordinate bid submissions across Engineering, Procurement, Projects, HR, Finance, and Commercial teams.

• Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Participate in bid clarification meetings and client negotiations.

• Ensure timely and compliant tender submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Proposal Engineer, Cost Estimator, or Bids Engineer.

• EPC, Oil & Gas, or Construction experience is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of estimating software and tendering processes.

• Excellent analytical and commercial skills.
