Dimensional Controller

Dimensional Controller

Role Summary:
Responsible for ensuring all fabricated structures and components meet specified dimensional tolerances in line with approved drawings and project standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dimensional inspections on fabricated items (piping, structures, modules)

  • Verify alignment, fit-up, and geometry against drawings and specifications

  • Interpret engineering drawings, isometrics, and GA layouts

  • Use precision measuring instruments (tape, level, theodolite, laser tools)

  • Identify and report dimensional deviations and non-conformances

  • Maintain accurate inspection records and reports

  • Liaise with fabrication and QA/QC teams for corrective actions

Requirements:

  • HND/BSc in Engineering or Technical discipline

  • 3–7 years experience in dimensional control (oil & gas preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of fabrication drawings and tolerances

Certifications:

  • Dimensional Control / Metrology Certification (preferred)

  • HSE Certification

QA Officer

Role Summary:
Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain QA policies, procedures, and documentation

  • Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO standards

  • Monitor quality performance metrics and report findings

  • Ensure proper document control and record keeping

  • Support corrective and preventive action processes (CAPA)

  • Interface with clients and auditors during quality reviews

Requirements:

  • BSc/HND in Engineering or related discipline

  • 3–5 years QA experience

  • Strong understanding of QMS and documentation processes

Certifications:

  • ISO 9001 Internal/Lead Auditor

  • HSE Certification

QA/QC Engineer

Role Summary:
Oversee and coordinate all quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)

  • Review engineering documents, procedures, and method statements

  • Coordinate QA/QC inspections and ensure compliance with standards

  • Manage non-conformances and corrective actions

  • Liaise with clients, inspectors, and third parties

  • Supervise QA/QC inspectors and ensure proper reporting

  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes (ASME, API, ISO)

Requirements:

  • BSc in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related)

  • 5–10 years QA/QC experience in oil & gas or construction

  • Strong knowledge of international standards and codes

Certifications:

  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor

  • CSWIP 3.1 (preferred)

  • NDT Level II (added advantage)

  • HSE Certification

QA/QC Inspector

Role Summary:
Execute inspections to ensure materials, fabrication, and installation meet specified quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections on materials, welding, and installations

  • Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and ITPs

  • Identify and document non-conformances

  • Maintain inspection reports and quality records

  • Witness tests and ensure adherence to procedures

  • Support audits and quality reviews

Requirements:

  • HND/BSc in Engineering or Technical field

  • 3–7 years QA/QC inspection experience

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Certifications:

  • ISO 9001 Internal Auditor

  • NDT Level II (preferred)

  • CSWIP 3.1 (for welding-related scopes – advantage)

  • HSE Certification

Welding Inspector

Role Summary:
Ensure all welding and fabrication activities are performed in compliance with approved procedures, codes, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect welding activities (fit-up, in-process, and final stages)

  • Verify compliance with WPS, PQR, and welding procedures

  • Monitor welder qualifications and certifications

  • Review and approve welding documentation and reports

  • Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented

  • Coordinate with QA/QC and fabrication teams

Requirements:

  • HND/BSc in Engineering or related field

  • 5+ years welding inspection experience

  • Strong knowledge of welding processes and codes (ASME, API)

Certifications:

  • CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2 or AWS CWI (mandatory)

  • NDT Level II (UT, RT, MT, PT – added advantage)

  • HSE Certification
