Job Purpose
To manage end-to-end recruitment for technical, engineering, and project-based roles within EPC operations, ensuring timely acquisition of qualified talent in line with project and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruitment for technical and engineering positions across EPC projects.

Source, screen, and shortlist candidates for roles including engineering, fabrication, construction, QA/QC, HSE, commissioning, project controls, and operations.

Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified local and expatriate technical professionals.

Coordinate interviews, assessments, reference checks, and selection processes with hiring managers.

Prepare job advertisements, recruitment reports, interview evaluations, and offer documentation.

Support manpower planning and mobilization activities for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Ensure recruitment activities comply with company procedures, client requirements, and local labor regulations.

Liaise with project managers, department heads, and HR teams to understand workforce requirements and timelines.

Track recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, sourcing effectiveness, and hiring progress.

Maintain an up-to-date recruitment database and talent pool for critical EPC roles.

Support onboarding and deployment processes for successful candidates.

Coordinate expatriate recruitment documentation where required, including work permit and mobilization support.
Requirements
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience
-
Minimum of 4–7 years’ recruitment experience, with at least 3 years in EPC, oil & gas, construction, fabrication, or engineering environments.

Proven experience recruiting technical and project-based roles.

Experience handling high-volume and fast-paced recruitment activities.
Required Competencies

Strong understanding of EPC project structures and technical roles.

Knowledge of engineering and construction workforce requirements.

Excellent sourcing and interviewing skills.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project timelines.

Good knowledge of recruitment systems and Microsoft Office tools.

High attention to detail and organizational capability.
Preferred Experience
-
Experience recruiting for offshore/onshore oil & gas projects.

Familiarity with expatriate recruitment and mobilization processes.

Knowledge of Nigerian Content requirements and workforce compliance.
